Lipo-B is a compounded lipotropic injection combining Methionine, Inositol, and Choline (MIC) with Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin). Administration

  1. Allow vial to reach room temperature; protect from light.
  2. Swab injection site; let dry.
  3. IM: 23–25g, 1–1.5 inch into upper outer gluteus or thigh.
  4. Sub-Q: 27–30g, 0.5 inch into abdomen or thigh.
  5. Inject slowly. Apply light pressure after withdrawal.

How This Works

Lipo-B combines the MIC lipotropic base with B12. Methionine, inositol, and choline work together to prevent hepatic fat accumulation by supporting phosphatidylcholine synthesis (required for VLDL fat export from liver) and modulating hepatic lipid metabolism. The B12 component (cyanocobalamin) provides cobalamin coenzymes required for: methionine synthase — converting homocysteine to methionine (methyl cycle support, synergistic with methionine in the formulation); methylmalonyl-CoA mutase — odd-chain fatty acid catabolism; and red blood cell maturation. The combined formulation is particularly useful for patients with B12 deficiency concurrent with metabolic concerns.
