🩹 EPO-Derived Anti-Inflammatory

ARA-290 (Cibinetide) (10 mg Vial) Dosage Protocol

ARA-290 (cibinetide) is an 11-amino-acid peptide derived from erythropoietin (EPO) that retains tissue-protective and anti-inflammatory effects without erythropoietic activity.

Dosing & Reconstitution Guide

Route: Subcutaneous  |  Frequency: Daily during cycle  |  Half-life: ~2 hours

Standard Approach (2 mL = 5.00 mg/mL)

Reconstituting with 2 mL bacteriostatic water produces a concentration of 5.00 mg/mL. Volume per dose changes with concentration; mg dose itself does not change between vial sizes.

Weeks 2–8 (target)4 mg80 units0.80 mL2 doses

Reconstitution Steps

  1. Wipe the vial stopper and BAC water vial with alcohol; let dry.
  2. Draw 2 mL of bacteriostatic water into a sterile syringe.
  3. Inject slowly down the inside glass wall of the peptide vial. Do not aim at the powder.
  4. Gently swirl until fully dissolved. Do not shake.
  5. Label with reconstitution date. Refrigerate at 2–8°C; use within 14 days.

Supplies Needed

Estimates for an 8-week and 12-week cycle at 4 mg per dose, daily during cycle (7 doses/week).

Protocol Overview

ARA-290 (cibinetide) protocols target neuropathic pain and chronic inflammation. Phase 2 trials ran 28 days at 4 mg/day with significant pain reduction.

Dosing Protocol

Daily dosing:

Cycle: 28 days active per Phase 2 protocol; longer protocols (8–12 weeks) used in chronic-condition research.

How This Works

ARA-290 is derived from helix B of EPO and binds the innate repair receptor (IRR — a tissue-protective receptor distinct from EPO's erythropoietic receptor). It produces anti-inflammatory and tissue-protective effects without raising hematocrit.
