Oxytocin (5 mg Vial) Dosage Protocol

DSIP is a 9-amino-acid neuropeptide first isolated from rabbit cerebral venous blood during electrically induced sleep. It modulates delta-wave sleep and exhibits anti-stress effects. This page covers the 5 mg vial.

Dosing & Reconstitution Guide

Route: Subcutaneous  |  Frequency: Once daily or PRN  |  Half-life: ~3 minutes (CNS effects persist 1–2 hrs)

Standard Approach (3 mL = 1.67 mg/mL)

Reconstituting with 3 mL bacteriostatic water produces a concentration of 1.67 mg/mL. Volume per dose changes with concentration; mg dose itself does not change between vial sizes.

Reconstitution Steps

  1. Wipe the vial stopper and BAC water vial with alcohol; let dry.
  2. Draw 3 mL of bacteriostatic water into a sterile syringe.
  3. Inject slowly down the inside glass wall of the peptide vial. Do not aim at the powder.
  4. Gently swirl until fully dissolved. Do not shake.
  5. Label with reconstitution date. Refrigerate at 2–8°C; use within 30 days.

Supplies Needed

Estimates for an 8-week and 12-week cycle at 200 mcg per dose, pre-bedtime (7 doses/week).

Protocol Overview

DSIP is dosed pre-bedtime nightly during a cycle. Effects compound — most users report sleep-quality improvement after 1–2 weeks of consistent use rather than acute changes.

Cycles typically run 2–4 weeks for situational insomnia or stress-recovery protocols.

Dosing Protocol

Once daily or PRN dosing:

Cycle structure: 2–4 weeks active, then break. Continuous nightly use is sometimes done; the literature supports cycled approaches better.

Timing: 30–60 min before bedtime in a calm setting. Avoid screens, caffeine, alcohol within 2h of dosing.

Important Notes

⚠ Research Use Only: DSIP is investigational. Most clinical literature is Eastern European.

How This Works

Oxytocin is synthesized in the supraoptic and paraventricular nuclei of the hypothalamus. It acts peripherally (stimulating uterine contraction and milk ejection) and centrally via limbic and prefrontal projections. Central effects include social bonding, trust enhancement, anxiolysis, and pair-bonding — mediated by high oxytocin receptor density in the amygdala, nucleus accumbens, and prefrontal cortex.
